1. Round Robin Format: In a round robin tournament, players are divided into groups, and each group plays against every other player or team in the same group. This format ensures that players get multiple matches against different opponents, providing a well-rounded playing experience.

2. Skill Levels: Better at Pickleball tournaments often cater to players of various skill levels, from beginners to advanced players. This allows for fair and competitive matches within each group. DUPR rating is used to make a level playing field for all players.

3. Structured Schedule: Tournaments usually have a structured schedule with predetermined match times. Players should arrive on time for their matches to ensure smooth proceedings. You should expect to play for 2.5-3 hours.

4. Scorekeeping: Matches will be self-officiated. It's essential to make good line calls and play fair. Familiarize yourself with the rules of pickleball to participate effectively.
